In the bustling city of Hong Kong, where tradition meets modernity, there is a unique dining experience that captures the essence of local culture - the cha chaan teng. These local-style cafes are known for their vibrant atmosphere, affordable prices, and a fusion of Eastern and Western culinary delights. Drawing inspiration from this iconic aspect of Hong Kong's culinary scene, HSBC PayMe, a leading digital payment platform, created an award-winning outdoor brand activation design that captivated the hearts of locals and tourists alike.

The design team meticulously crafted every aspect of the brand activation to ensure an authentic and captivating experience. The space was adorned with colourful neon signs, reminiscent of the vibrant signage found outside traditional cha chaan teng establishments. These signs not only added a touch of nostalgia but also served as eye-catching focal points, drawing in passersby.

To bring the charm of cha chaan teng to life, HSBC PayMe collaborated with us to create an immersive outdoor brand activation experience. The concept was simple yet powerful - transform a bustling street in Hong Kong into a vibrant cha chaan teng, complete with iconic elements such as neon signs, retro decor, and mouthwatering food displays.
